Getting the Right Thing for the Job

My brother is looking for a new sat nav for his car and I have been recommending the one that I have which is a Garmin 96. I like it because it has always been reliable for me and got me to where I wanted to go without much effort. However, he likes to do lots and lots of research first and also has more money to spend than I did so he has been looking at the full range of Garmin products to see which might be best. He is happy to go for Garmin based on my recommendation but is wondering whether something like the Garmin 196 might be better suited to him as it has some different features to mine. He is keen to make sure that it does everything that he wants but he isn’t paying for functions that he will not use. He is a firm believer in getting good value for money and not wasting his hard earned cash. This makes sense but I think that he will be a long time searching - he has already spend a few weeks pondering, at this rate they will have brought- out a new model before he decides!
