I cannot believe that my mother is pregnant. I did wonder, when she got married, whether she might have a baby, as she had me very young and is therefore still able to have children, but I am now going to be a big sister and I have children of my own! It has been so funny talking her through things and how things are done these days as well as making a pregnancy checklist with her. It has certainly brought us closer together which has been fantastic. I have even been able to pass clothes, toys and things on to her, some of which she passed on to me from her loft, it has been quite funny really! I know that she will be a fantastic mother, as she was to me and she is a really good grandmother too. Having grand children has kept her hand in a bit as well, so I think that has helped her. I am really looking forward to tomorrow as she is coming over for coffee and she is going to sit down with me to think of some Spanish baby boy names and Spanish baby girl names and I have some good ideas that I hope she might take on board!
